PVC windows recycled
Old windows and doors often still have a lot of potential. But what happens after their first life? This is exactly where the Rewindo window recycling service comes in.
Old materials such as glass, metal and PVC are sent to state-of-the-art reprocessing plants operated by Rewindo recycling partners. There, the individual materials are carefully separated.
The recycled PVC is then processed into pure PVC granulate. This granulate plays a decisive role in the production of new window or building profiles - and all this in a closed material cycle.
In this way, the network promotes sustainable management and offers new, forward-looking perspectives.
Focus on sustainable action
The recycling process of the Rewindo recycling partners already separates the materials contained in old PVC windows by type. Metallic components are separated and recycled elsewhere.
Our Managing Director Ralf Neuhaus emphasises the importance of sustainable action:
„The production of galvanised reinforcement profiles for the PVC window industry is our core competence. Our aim is to always ensure a good balance for people, the environment and society.Therefore, responsible use of resources and materials is a matter of course for us.
The steel we use generally has a recycled content of around 20% per tonne - depending on the steel grade and upstream supplier."
